Struggling Readers: You CAN Read the Bible in 90 Days!

My 10-year-old dyslexic son just completed the Bible in 90 Days Challenge via Mom’s Toolbox!    Struggling readers, adults and children alike: if he can do it, I can assure you that you can, too! Click here to read my post on how he did it.

Here’s a hokey 2-minute video I made with my iPhone to celebrate the milestone:

  1. Oh my goodness I have goosebumps! I am so happy for him.. and for those who will come into his life and also be impacted by his reading.
    This is amazing!
And I will definitely share this video with my own boys (8 and 10) soon.

CONGRATULATIONS and thank you for sharing this.
    You made my day. :)

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please tell RJ “congratulations!” from our family! What a beautiful testimony he has now to share–he did it! And he is now a wonderful witness to other kids (and adults!) that they can do it too! I think next time, I just may see about having my 7 year old daughter participate. She reads well, and if RJ can do it, she can too! :) Give that great boy of yours a huge hug from this mama! I am proud of him too!

Oh, wow! Thank you for posting this. I just asked God the other day to show me how to plug our three kids into reading the Bible more. My oldest has high-functioning autism and struggles with comprehension and I love, love, LOVE the idea of audio WITH the reading. OMGoodness…tears in my eyes. Our middle son has Asperger’s so I think I’ve just found my ‘key’ (and God’s answer)…audio w/reading. Perfect. I’m so grateful you showed this! Proud for your son!!
